First GP Fellow Lands in Thailand

Ryan Drysdale, Global Playground's first fellow, has arrived in Thailand to begin his year of service. Ryan will be teaching at Huay Puung Mai School, where Global Playground unveiled a library in early 2009 and made a contribution of technology this spring.

Ryan is maintaining a blog and Tweeting to engage children here in the U.S. and at Global Playground's schools abroad in cross-cultural dialogue.

Global Playground Fellow Launches Blog

Global Playground's inaugural fellow, Ryan Drysdale, and Chairman, Doug Bunch, have departed for Haiti to visit sites for a possible Global Playground project.

Upon Ryan's return on October 11, he will finish preparations for his October 19 departure to Thailand.

Ryan has begun blogging at: fellow.theglobalplayground.org. Check it out for frequent updates, as a new chapter in Global Playground's history begins.
